David Cassidy has been scheduled for a DUI hearing on Tuesday. The star was arrested in November and found to have a blood-alcohol level well above the legal limit.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. — Former teen idol David Cassidy is scheduled for a status hearing stemming from his November DUI arrest.

The hearing begins at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Lucie County.

The 60-year-old “Partridge Family” star was arrested Nov. 3 after a Florida Highway Patrol trooper spotted his car weaving on Florida’s Turnpike near Fort Pierce.

According to the FHP, Cassidy said he had a glass of wine and later took a hydrocodone pill. Troopers found a half-empty bottle of bourbon in the back seat of the white Mercedes.

The FHP report states that Cassidy failed a field sobriety test, and breath tests at the St. Lucie County jail showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.139 and 0.141, above Florida’s legal limit of 0.08.

In Rockhill, a woman has been charged with DUI after striking and killing a pedestrian. The woman hit two pedestrians around 9:30 pm.

ROCK HILL –

A Rock Hill woman was charged with felony driving under the influence after she struck and killed a pedestrian Saturday night on Adnah Church Road in Rock Hill.

Dianne Webster, 45, of Rock Hill was driving a 1991 Chevy pickup when she hit two pedestrians around 9:30 p.m., according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

Troopers say two brothers were walking on the side of Adnah Church Road heading south and facing approaching traffic.

Troopers say Webster drove up from behind them, crossed the double line, and hit them.

One of the men, 23-year-old Lorenzo Hemphill of Rock Hill, was killed, authorities said.

His brother, Antwan Hemphill, 39, was injured.

Webster was charged with driving under suspension – second offense, hit and run accident with death, and felony driving under the influence. She was booked Sunday morning at the Moss Justice Center, where her bond was set at $31,275.
